What the tribunal said
The tribunal determined that an unadjusted open market rent for the flat in modernised condition would be 1,600 per month. A deduction of 250 per month was applied to reflect the general condition of the flat and the original kitchen and bathroom fittings, bringing the market rent to 1,350 per month. No undue hardship was proven to delay the effective date.
