What the tribunal said
The Tribunal determined that the market rent for the property in good tenantable condition would be 800 per month. Deductions of 125 per month were made to account for dated kitchen and bathroom equipment and general disrepair/defects, arriving at a final rent of 675 per month. The Tribunal found the increase would not cause undue hardship and declined to defer the effective date.
