What the tribunal said
The Tribunal determined the market rent based on comparable evidence provided and expert knowledge of local rental values. It decided an open market rent of £150 per week in good condition and made no deductions. Service charge issues were noted as outside the Tribunal's jurisdiction under Section 14.
The property
